You Can Now Charge the Nissan Ariya at Tesla Supercharger Stations
You are on the road and need to charge up your Nissan Ariya. There is nothing with the standard DC Fast Charger available within a few miles. However, you do see a set of Tesla Superchargers across the parking lot. You look away, but your battery is low and there is a chance you might not make your destination – or back home.Â
Help is on the way! In 2025, Nissan ARIYA owners will get an adapter that will connect them to the Tesla Supercharger network. The adapter converts the standard plug receptacle inside the ARIYA’s charging port so that a Tesla charging plug can be inserted. Â
Access to Tesla’s network will be added to the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network in 2025 through the MyNISSAN app or on your infotainment screen. Currently, you have access to 90,000 DC fast chargers across the U.S.A. on the Electrify America, Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, and EVgo networks. In fact, there are dozens of chargers of both the CCS-1 and NACS types available across the Columbia area and across South Carolina. By the end of 2025, you should see well over 100,000 charging locations on your MyNISSAN app. Â
The NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network is a revolution in EV charging convenience. It puts one of the largest public charging networks at your service. Download the MyNISSAN App to access the network and get ready to charge your Nissan ARIYA more easily and seamlessly.Â
Through the MyNISSAN app, you can even set up payments through the Nissan Wallet to make paying for charging simple and seamless when using your ARIYA. No need to download additional apps and set up separate accounts with any of the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network partners – including the Tesla Supercharger network. Â
You can also use your home charging unit from Wallbox to charge up your ARIYA overnight. Soon, that will include a Tesla home charger with the adapter. Â
The all-electric ARIYA is a revolution in advanced electric performance and breakthrough design for the next generation of EV driving. You can achieve up to 301 miles on a full battery to go anywhere. Currently, it takes 15-45 minutes to recoup energy back to your battery from 10-80% at a DC Fast Charger. Â
Charging an ARIYA is one thing. Owning one is another. You get an advanced SUV made for everyday living. It is very well equipped with ProPILOT Assist to keep you safe and secure, along with the latest connected technologies available in any Nissan vehicle. You’ll love how the ARIYA drives when you reach your nearest charging station for a battery top-off. Â
