2025 Nissan Ariya vs the Competition

2025 Nissan Ariya in Motion

The Ariya is a practical SUV that is powered solely by a battery. Wearing a sharp exterior design and an advanced interior, the efficient Ariya can accommodate people and their cargo for miles on one end. You also have choices, such as single-motor front-wheel drive or the e-4ORCE dual-motor all-wheel drive. You can also have your Ariya with the advanced ProPILOT Assist 2.0 or ProPILOT Assist with Navi-Link – both driver assistance technologies developed to make your drive a safer one.

How well does the Nissan Ariya compare against the competition?

  • Did you know the Ariya is more affordable than the comparable Blazer EV? There is a nearly $5,000 difference between the two most affordable trim levels, making the Ariya a great value.

2025 Nissan Ariya vs the Ford Mustang Mach-e
Ford applied its iconic name to a four-door electric SUV while adding elements of the pony car’s design. Yet, it is practical and offers advanced features not found in its muscle car namesake. It comes in single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive models.

  • When you compare dual-motor and all-wheel drive models, you will find that the Ariya is more powerful. It puts down 335 horsepower, compared to the Mustang Mach-E’s standard driveline with 311 horsepower.

You also get privacy glass for the rear windows. The Mustang Mach-E does not have these features in the comparable Select model.
  • Up front, the Ariya gives you more headroom than the Mustang Mach-E: 39.6 inches vs. 38.9 inches.

  • The Ariya offers standard wireless smartphone connectivity for Apple CarPlay, a feature not available on the Model Y. We also include a standard Wi-Fi hotspot in the Ariya.
