​​Nissan Earns High Ranks in Latest J.D. Power Initial Quality Survey​

Knowing how much you love your Nissan points to the latest J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Initial Quality Study. In fact, Nissan was ranked the highest among mass-market brands in this year’s IQS survey. In addition, two Nissan models were ranked at the top of their respective segments – the Sentra among Compact Cars and the Altima in the Midsize Car category. Three Nissan models also placed in the top three in their categories – the Rogue, Frontier, and Pathfinder. 

Now in its 39th year, J.D. Power compiles data from the survey results based on the first 90 days of ownership. They received tens of thousands of responses from owners of 2025 model-year vehicles that measure problems per 100 vehicles. Based on the owners’ feedback, they found that Nissan vehicles received the lowest number of the 223 problems they looked for. This proves that Nissan has improved quality and customer service overall, based on a culture that puts consumers first and delivers vehicles that are built better than the rest.
