A First Look At The New Features On The 2025 Nissan Rogue

August 26th, 2024 by

The Nissan Rogue has been one of the best crossovers for customers since it arrived at dealerships in 2008. The latest third-generation model was refreshed in 2021 and is now getting a special new trim level for the 2025 model year. The latest Rogue gets treated to some new off-road goodies with the Rock Creek trim, as well as loads of extra tech features on other trim levels.

What’s New On The Rogue Rock Creek?

The Rock Creek edition brings more off-road confidence to Nissan Rogue buyers who want not just an on-road SUV but also a vehicle they can easily go camping with or just a vehicle for off-road adventures in general. One of the most significant changes for the Rock Creek model is its new bold gloss black front grille with silver accents, an all-new front fascia with Lava Red accents, gloss black side mirrors, and a tubular-style roof rack that features integrated crossbars with extra Lava Red accenting. New 17-inch satin black wheels are wrapped in 235/65R17 Falken Wild Peak all-terrain tires. Inside, the heated leatherette seats can repel water and have special inserts. There is Lava Red stitching with piano black dashboard trim. A 12-volt power outlet is standard in the rear hatch area.

Special Systems On The Rock Creek Edition

On the technology side, the Rock Creek trim brings a special Off-Road View to the HD Intelligent Around View Monitor that works while traveling up to 12 mph, which is crucial when trekking through tighter areas off-road. The Rogue Rock Creek also comes standard with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and Hill Descent Control. An optional Premium Package adds a wireless charging pad, heated steering wheel, four-way power passenger seat, motion-activated power liftgate, memory settings for the driver’s seat and side mirrors, reverse tilt-down for the side mirrors, turn signals for the side mirrors, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and LED interior accent lighting.

Give Your Hands A Rest

2025 also sees the Nissan Rogue get the latest driver-assistance aids, such as ProPILOT Assist 2.1. Thanks in part to Google Built-in, this system allows drivers to take their hands off the wheel and have the vehicle take over acceleration, braking, and steering assistance while on certain roads. The 3D Intelligent Around View Monitor adds 3D visibility all around the vehicle, making maneuvering the Rogue in tight parking lots or city areas easier. These features are available on Rogue SL and Platinum trim levels.

Nissan Safety

All Rogue trim levels come standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360, which includes Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, High Beam Assist, and Rear Automatic Braking.

Engine And Infotainment

The 2025 Nissan Rogue is powered by a 1.5-liter Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) 3-cylinder that produces 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque, combined with an Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). The S, SV, and Rock Creek trim levels feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM. SL and Premium models have a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
